Building Scotland’s Largest Outdoor Wood-Fired Sauna Network

Sauna at the Sea – Partnership Model

What started with a single sauna overlooking the Solway coast has grown into something much bigger.

At Sauna at the Sea, our vision is simple: create memorable outdoor sauna experiences in exceptional locations and help put Sauna culture firmly on the map.

Today, that vision extends far beyond our original site.

Through partnerships with passionate local businesses and landowners, we are creating a growing network of outdoor wood-fired saunas, each with its own unique character, while sharing the same commitment to quality, hospitality and unforgettable experiences.

Our Locations

  • Sauna at the Sea, Kirkcudbright
  • Sauna at the Dee, Crossmichael
  • Sauna at the Solway, Borgue
  • Sauna at the Second Sands, Port William
  • Barend Sauna, Sandyhills

Why Partnerships Matter

Every location within our network is unique. What connects them is not the landscape, but the people behind them.

We work with landowners, tourism businesses and local entrepreneurs who share our belief that great experiences are built through collaboration. Our partners provide exceptional locations and local knowledge, while we provide the sauna, branding, booking platform and proven operating model.

Together, we are creating experiences that benefit visitors, support local businesses and bring new opportunities to rural communities.

Looking Ahead

We believe outdoor sauna culture is only just beginning in Scotland.

As our network continues to grow, our focus remains unchanged: exceptional locations, exceptional experiences and exceptional partnerships.

If you own a site, tourism business or piece of land that you believe could be home to a future sauna location, we’d love to hear from you.

The best partnerships always begin with a conversation.
